In Memoriam: Tucson Local Bands of Yesteryear

This page honors bands that meant something special to Tucson’s music community—bands we danced to, sang along with, and were lucky to share part of our lives with. These listings are here in remembrance of one or more musicians from each band who are no longer with us. While not every member of every band has passed, the music they helped create continues to live on. We hold space here with gratitude, love, and deep respect—for the artists we lost, the bands they were part of, and the joy they gave us. Rest in peace, and may the music carry on, wherever it’s playing now.
