Greg Morton is a Tucson musician and seasoned multi-instrumentalist with more than five decades of experience performing guitar, banjo, and mandolin, as well as singing.

Over the course of his career, Greg has worked as a touring and studio musician, including recording at Sun Records Studio and performing with artists such as Mark O’Connor and The Whites. His musical travels have also taken him to Hawaii, where he appeared on The Don Ho Show.

Greg’s playing reflects a lifetime spent exploring different styles, learning from other musicians, and following opportunities wherever the music led him. He shares more of those stories—including his years on the road, memorable performances, and the story behind a very special guitar—in Episode 4 of Desert Sound Check.
