Johnnie and the Rumblers are a “ baby boomers” band. Johnnie states, “We’re a couple of guys in our 60’s. Life has beat us up a bit, but we’re still jamming! We discovered our passion for music back in the 60’s & 70’s. Over the years, we’ve held jobs, had families, mortgages, and have navigated life’s up’s and downs. Our love for music and performing never died. We love performing those old classics from the 50’s through the 80’s. Artists like Elvis, The Beatles, The Eagles, Santana, Eric Clapton, and all the other greats from this golden era take us back to the days of our youth! We also slip in a few cool country songs by people like Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and others.” Our performances include some great blues/rock recorded by Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, and Tommy Castro, along with some of those great Motown and Soul songs by Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Sam & Dave.
We have an original side to our music. We released a CD awhile back entitled “Dos Equis.” It’s available on most digital music retailers like Amazon Music. We’ll be working on another CD soon. Anyway, thanks for visiting us, and hopefully we’ll see you soon.
