The Speedway Brothers Band

The Speedway Brothers Band has been playing around Tucson for about 12 years. Back in the '60s, we cruised up and down Speedway Boulevard on Friday and Saturday nights, that's where our name comes from. We even have an original song called "Cruising Down Speedway" which tells that story on the player below.
We play a mix of oldies from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and early 80s plus a few originals all wrapped up with a country/bluegrass feel.

To Speedway Bros Band: I am in Tucson Estates and in charge of entertainment. I am looking for music that is known to all of us over 55 people. Was kind of hoping for a mix – I do have a Bluegrass Band scheduled along with Patsy Cline concert, so want some old folk music and oldies. Our concerts during the 2027 winter season are on a Sunday afternoon. Do you have an interest? What is your fee if so.
    Thanks,
    Shelly Ground

    1. Hi Shelly –
Sounds like Tucson Estates is doing a wonderful job for it’s residents in supporting live local music!
Contact information for the band is in their profile above. It would be best to reach out to them through those methods, especially since they are not notified of comments here on our site. I also removed your email from the public posting. I’ll go ahead and send the info along to the band for you too. Thank you for filling Tucson with live music!
