Tucson Live Music This Week: September 18–24, 2026

There’s a lot of music packed into Tucson this week, from funk, soul, and desert surf on Friday to blues, rock, folk, jazz, and plenty of dancing through the weekend. Several Tucson Local Bands directory artists are on the calendar this week, including bands sending their events directly to us, so there are plenty of chances to get out, support local music, and fill those tip jars.

Friday: Funk, Soul, Sax, and Surf

Friday has a little bit of everything. Start the evening with smooth sax at the Arizona Inn, then head into funk, rock, and surf as the night gets rolling. Tucson Local Bands directory artists Little House of Funk, ORGANic Funk Alliance, and The Dirty Licks are all out around town.

Saturday brings another big mix, with several familiar local names on the schedule. Whose Blues Band and Top Dead Center are both feeding their calendars directly into Tucson Local Bands, while Little House of Funk takes over Monterey Court for its monthly dose of funk, blues, and soul.
