Paul Opocensky Project is an authentic singer-songwriter and musician based in Tucson, Arizona whose work blends folk, rock, and Americana into a style often described as Acoustic Grunge Americana. Born Washington state and raised with a deep love for music, Paul is a self-taught artist whose songwriting reflects real life — themes of love, loss, faith, family, redemption, and hard-earned wisdom.

Paul’s musical journey began in the hard rock outfit Tongue Dried Sun, where he honed his craft and stage presence before evolving into the solo project he is known for today. With a penchant for raw, soulful lyrics and a distinctly personal voice, Paul channels his life experiences into music that resonates through both original compositions and heartfelt acoustic arrangements.

In addition to writing and performing his own material, Paul also creates his own visuals and posters, further shaping the artistic identity of his music. He has released albums including June Mountain and The Ghost and His Enemies, and frequently connects with audiences through live shows across Arizona and beyond.

Paul’s connection to his fans is deeply rooted in genuine, experience-driven performances — making every live show an immersive experience. Through persistence, heart-on-sleeve storytelling, and an unwavering commitment to his craft, Paul Opocensky Project continues to grow as a distinctive voice in the independent music scene.
