Tucson Live Music This Week: September 25–October 1, 2026

Another week, another packed Tucson music calendar! From Friday-night rock and Americana to a very busy Saturday filled with local favorites, Sunday afternoon grooves, and plenty of music to carry us through the middle of the week, there are lots of reasons to get out and support Tucson’s music scene.

Here’s a look at what’s happening around town this week.

Friday: Rock, Americana, and Local Favorites

Friday gets the weekend moving with everything from singer-songwriter sounds to rock, Americana, and plenty of dance-floor energy. Paul Opocensky Project kicks things off at Corbett’s, and Barnaby and the Butcher head to The Jackrabbit Lounge with their blend of Alt Country and Americana. There’s plenty more happening around town, including Eric Schaffer & The Other Troublemakers, Xception, Shell Shock, and Sunset Red.

Saturday: Ska, Funk, Rock, and Dancing

Saturday is a big one. Gift Horse returns to Monterey Court, while Swigfoot takes its high-energy ska sound north for Surprise Ska Night at Owl Venue in Prescott. Tucson also has Your Money’s Worth at 3 Canyons Beer & Wine Gardens and Bryan Dean Trio at The HUT, plus Ruta Verbena bringing Latin rhythms to Bisbee. From afternoon wine-country music through late-night rock, there’s a lot to choose from.

Sunday starts early with the Sunday Irish Jam at Monterey Court and keeps rolling with Bryan Dean Trio, Gregory Morton, and The Coolers, who return to the Hotel Congress Plaza stage for a night of horn-powered funk. There’s also an Aretha Franklin tribute at The Century Room, Kevin Pakulis at The HUT, and the Ronstadt Company Store at Monterey Court.

Monday–Thursday: Americana, Country, and Midweek Jams

The weekend may be over, but the music definitely isn’t. Bryan Dean Trio gets Monday started at Catalina Brewing Company, and Monterey Court keeps the midweek calendar busy with Mark Insley and the Broken Angels, Don Armstrong & the Whiskeypalians, and the Porch Rockers. Barnaby and the Butcher return Wednesday night at St. Philip’s Plaza, while Thursday also brings the weekly Jeff Rocx Open Mic Jam at Big Bad Wolf and Nancy McCallion & Neil McCallion with Danny Krieger.
